School Programme
The Objectives :
1. Create awareness among the young the truth about their intrinsic value and dignity, and that of every uman person from conception to
natural death.
2. To instill in them the truth and meaning of human sexuality in relatioship,marriage and the marital unioun.
3. To motivate them to discover their students and develop them, and to say 'No' to negetive peer presure, and say 'Yes' to True Love Waits.
Since the establishment of HLS 13 years ago, we have been to schools in and outside of Miri, as far as Bekenu, Bakong, Limbang, Marudi,Tatau,and Long lama.Sometimes we invite ourselves into the schools and other time the schools invite us in. Once we spoke to a whole school assembly of nearly 2000 students while most times we speak to groups ranging from 30 to 600 students. Our speakers make up Form 5 and Form 6 school leavers, Curtin Univercity students and volunteers who are home for semester breaks.
